How we helped
About the organisation
Qdot is a University of Oxford spin-out that develops heat transfer technology for the most challenging thermal environments. It is currently working on generating power from nuclear fusion as an ideal solution to the help the transition from a fossil-fuel based society to an electric one in a green manner; it is also developing a battery thermal management system for ground and air electrical vehicle batteries that will answer the biggest issues standing in the way of the mass uptake of electric vehicles, which are range anxiety, charge speed and cost.
The challenge
Qdot is working at the cutting edge of high-technology industries. As a young company, it needs to grow in a controlled and systematic way while moving from research to product development and delivery.
The role of Penleaf
Graham has taken up the role of an Advisory Board Member to Qdot, which will include a consulting service to help develop a high-level technology and product strategy.
